The LATHER Project Mission
The Lather Project was created to combat human trafficking by empowering victims to receive survivor‑centered, trauma-informed care in a safe, healing environment. Our goal is to restore hope in these individuals and to build solid relationships with local communities in order to educate and prevent human trafficking in the future.
Leading America's Trafficked to Hope Empowerment & Restoration (LATHER)
Through the distribution of individually packaged soaps and makeup remover wipes, we are able to reach countless individuals that are trapped in dangerous, life-threatening situations. These personal items contain discreetly placed HELP stickers with instructions and the trafficking hotline number for anyone seeking refuge. By carefully placing these items in truck stops and hotels throughout America, it is our hope that individuals seeking escape and refuge will find our products and be empowered to reach out to receive life-saving help, personal healing, and restoration.
